Mali destroy Gabon to enter the semis of the AfroBasket U16. The Malian side posted an easy 138:12 win at the Quarterfinal stage.
Mali won the first period with a massive 40-0 run and then added massive 28-2 surge in the second period. Moreover Mali held off the opponents to 0 points in the third period and scored another 37 points. Mali finished the game with a 33-10 run for the final 138-12 win.
Djeneba N'Diaye (165-PG-97) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Assetou Diakite nailed 16. Mariam Alou Coulibaly produced 15, whilst Ouassa Dembele and Aminata Diakite had 14 each. Hardell Flaure Nang Abagha ended up with 5 points in defeat and Milame Ilarye Angue nailed 3. Marel Erika Guitsinzou Akendengue and Paolina Maella Ngongouaya had 2 points each in a loss.
In the Semifinal Mali U16 will take on Mozambique U16.
