Jonathan Mesghna (199-F-89) was a complelty unknown player two years ago in Germany, but since he made it to the finals of the German Under-20 Championship with his team from Kornberg, he gets more and more audience to showcase his repertoire of skills.

After last season's success with the youngsters , he joined the seniors in the Regionalliga Southwest-North, Germany's 3rd Division.

Additionally, he helps out on the second team of MTV Kronberg in the 4th Division and plays in the NBBL , the newly created National German Youth League where he currently averages 18,3 PPG(60,5 %FG & 50 % 3p), 13,3 RPG and 2,8 SPG in four games that his team won all.

Although being part of a pretty stacked seniors roster, the rising star averages 4,0 PPG through eight games in the season and adds height and danger beyond the three-point line as well as under the basket, while also averaging 10,7 PPG with the second team in the Oberliga Hessen, after last year's 5,8 PPG in the same league.

Because of his great outing in the german youth final last year, he made it to the Jordan Classic in Berlin, where he was able to meet the living legend Michael Jordan. This fairly young and motivated player should be having a great career in either pro or college ball in the future.
