Burundi remained undefeated with the win over Eritrea at the FIBA AfroCan Zone 5 Qualifiers. They posted a 73-68 win for a 3-0 record.
Burundi won the first two quarters to seal a 7-point halftime advantage, whilst Eritrea replied with a 23-13 run in the third quarter. Due to 18-10 surge in the last stanza, Burundi celebrated another win. Landry Ndikumana (198-F-1995) stepped up with 22 points for the winners.
