Neighbours Eritrea well represented in basketball nowadays

After years of war raging between Ethiopia and Eritrea, the war-torn republic at the red sea may not be known for producing basketball players, but a few made strides overseas, representing their small country in different leagues. Eritrea has a few players around the world. First ,there is former Washington State-product Thomas Kelati (195-G/F-82, college: Washington St.) who hasnt been selected in this year's NBA Draft although working out with several teams, he's born in the US but both parents are refugees from Eritrea and he is now off to Belgium to play professionally for Mons-Hainaut.Another Eritrean in the US is Josef Woldense of the Bord University , a NCAA Div. III -school. He is a 6-6 forward who is enterring his senior-year and is originally from Asmara, Eritrea.Alexander Atoberhan (189-G-85), who is also from Eritrea,signed with MTV Giessen in the 1. Bundesliga in Germany, he replaces Dominic Cannon (190-G-83),who moved to TSV Butzbach (Oberliga) together with Konrad Wysocki (203-F-82, college: Princeton).Finally ,guards Quflom Teschm and Awet Teschm play for PSV Frankfurt in Germany as well, Quflom was one of the topscorers in his league last year.There might even more players around from Eritrea, if some player that we forgot to mention is known to you,please inform us !
