Thomas Kelati heads to Valencia

Thomas Kelati (195-G/F-82, college: Washington St.) and Valencia have reached an agreement on terms of the deal. The Eritrean-US guard needs to pass medical tests before finalizing the contract with Valencia. The 27-year-old player played for Unicaja Malaga last season. Thomas Kelati averaged 10.3 points, 1.7 boards and 1.5 assists per game in the ACB. In Euroleague he delivered 11.8 points, 1.9 boards and 1.3 assists. Kelati spent the pre-season with the Los Angeles Lakers but was waived prior to the regular season. Valencia also waived Rawle Marshall (201-G-82, college: Oakland).
