SCM CSU Craiova (Liga Nationala) signed 28-year-old Equatorial Guinea-Spanish-Spaniard 200cm forward Walter Cabral Bueriberi, represented by 011 Sports, for the upcoming season. He excelled as the top rebounder at SBBK Sodertalje in the Swedish Basketligan last season, averaging an impressive 15.0ppg, 10.7rpg, 2.1apg, and 1.2spg in 35 games. This successful season earned him the Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Basketligan Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year awards, as well as a spot on the All-Imports Team. In the previous 2022-23 season, he played for Grupo Alega Cantabria Torrelavega (LEB Gold) in the Spanish league.
He has played previously in Spain (Alicante, Zamora, Casvi, Real Canoe, and Viten Getafe Fuenlabrada Madrid) and Sweden.
His team won the Spanish LEB Plata Group West Regular Season in 2022.
