Cameroon sealed 2023 AfroCan appearance as they finished the Qualifiers with a perfect 4-0 record. In the last game they edged Equatorial Guinea 102:38.
Cameroon became the latest team to qualify for this year's FIBA AfroCan as they opened the game with an 18-7 run. Cameroon dominated the whole game and won all the quarters in the campaign.
James Nekthy and Etienne Kalume top-scored for the winners with 25 points each. Engelbert Beleck (192-PF-1998) netted 19, whilst Jean Guevara and Cyrille Liale Keumoe (180-PG-1992) had 11 each. Salvador Mitogo (1990) replied with 16 points in the losing effort.
