Cameroon - Equatorial Guinea 90-58
Cameroon overcame Equatorial Guinea in AfroBasket 2021 Qualification opener. The home side of Group C posted a 90-58 victory.
Cameroon nailed 31 points at the start and never looked behind. They added a massive 27-12 surge in the second frame for a 58-28 halftime advantage. Equatorial Guinea managed to win the third period 22-12, but could not come closer to the favotires. Cameroon closed the game with a final 20-8 surge to seal the victory.
Arnaud-William Adala Moto (198-F-93, college: Towson, agency: Duran International), Robert Ngijol, Williams Narace (201-F-97) and Kenny Kadji (211-F-88, college: Miami, FL, agency: Octagon Europe) paced the well-balanced side with 11 points each. Samir Gbetkom Bikantchou (190-G-98) and Benoit Mbala (200-F-95) followed them with 10 points each. Kingsely Sam brought 15 in a loss and Walter Cabral (200-F-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) delivered 12.
