Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad (LEB Silver) agreed terms with 27-year old Spaniard point guard Richard Nguema (191-88). It is actually his comeback to Caceres Basket as he played here before. Nguema started the season at Malabo Kings in Equatorial Guinean D1 league.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Spanish LEB Gold Play-Off Semifinals in 2013. Nguema was also voted Afrobasket.com All-African Champions Cup Honorable Mention in 2014. He represented Spain at the World Championships U19 in Novi Sad (Serbia) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 9 games: 2.8ppg, 2.3rpg.
Nguema has played previously for five other Spain teams: Real Madrid, Asefa Estudiantes, Blusens Monbus, Real Madrid II and Tuenti Movil Estudiantes Madrid B.
On Nguema: A talented player with great athletic skills, very good defender and great penetrator inside.
