Captains were selected by the federation, once selected each captain went and selected players one by one for there respective teams. The best players in Equatorial Guinea faced off against each other. Childs, King and Woodyard performed quite impressively. Alberto Rosell Escriba, coach for (Mongomo Basket) was one of the coaches selected to coach for the all star game this season. He was plesantly surprised about the skill set of players King, Childs and also his player Woodyard. Saying that each is a unique talent, that each are very athletic and posses there own special abilities and talents. When asked about each and what make them special he briefly spoke about the trio of Americans playing there inagurial season in Guinea. "King is a dynamic athlete and tremendous point guard, Childs is a superior athlete, a Westbrook sized point guard who plays above the rim and Woodyard is a sharp shooting, athletic guard whose touch on the perimeter is pure and efficient. They are all unique talents and it was a honor coaching them. It was a tremendous turnout, each player from there respective teams player hard. A nice respite right before the playoffs start, each player enjoyed it and enjoyed playing with each other
