International Amr Alaa Zahran (191-2001) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Zach Lofton (193-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four Al Ahly C. players scored in double figures. The former international center Anas Mahmoud (214-1995, college: Louisville) replied with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Yassin Yasser added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Al Ittihad Al.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
