Sporting Defeat Al Ahly to Take Early Lead in Egypt Women's Basketball Super League Finals Sporting defeated Al Ahly 84–67 in Game 1 of the Egypt Women's Basketball Super League Finals, held at the Youth and Sports Hall in 6th of October City.

Al Ahly finished the first half ahead 45–40, but Sporting produced a strong second-half comeback to turn the game around and secure a convincing 84–67 victory.

With the win, Sporting take a 1–0 lead in the best-of-five championship series, where the first team to earn three victories will be crowned champions.
