University of Illinois at Chicago signed Egyptian guard Salma Khedr (6'1'') for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The Giza native played for the last two years at Western Kentucky University. In 27 games last season, she had 10.4ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.6apg, and 1.3spg. Khedr was named to All-Conference USA Honorable Mention in 2026 and helped her team reach the C-USA Tournament Semifinals in 2025.
