Sporting and Al Ahly Advance to Egypt Women's Basketball Super League Final

Sporting and Al Ahly have advanced to the final of the 2025–2026 Egypt Women’s Basketball Super League after dominant performances in the semi-finals.

The semi-final stage, played in a best-of-three format, featured Al Ahly, Sporting, Heliopolis, and Al Gezira.

Sporting swept past Heliopolis 2–0 in their series, sealing qualification with a 78–57 victory in Game 2, following their opening win 75–51 last Saturday.

Al Ahly also progressed with a 2–0 series win over Al Gezira, clinching their spot in the final after an 80–63 win in Game 2, having earlier won the first game 87–61.

The semi-finals were contested in a best-of-three system, with the first team to secure two wins advancing to the final.

Both Sporting and Al Ahly delivered convincing displays across the series, setting up a highly anticipated championship showdown between two of Egypt’s top women’s basketball teams.
