Hager Amer, Sporting’s standout player, was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) — presented by WayUp Sports — following her team’s victory in the Egypt Women’s Basketball Cup final, where Sporting defeated Al Ahly 82–70.

Amer delivered a stellar performance in the final, playing a decisive role in securing the title for the Alexandrian side. She recorded:

25 points 6 rebounds (offensive and defensive) Efficiency rating: 27 in 39 minutes The MVP award was presented to Amer by Ayman Ali, board member of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, alongside Omar Afifi, Chairman of WayUp Sports.

Al Ahly started strongly, leading the first quarter 25–20 and extending their advantage to 41–35 at halftime.

However, Sporting mounted a comeback in the third quarter to take a 58–54 lead, before widening the gap in the final period to secure an 82–70 victory and lift the title.

Heliopolis claimed the bronze medal after defeating Al Gezira 69–65 at Dr. Hassan Mostafa Hall.

Sporting reached the final after a dominant 96–70 win over Heliopolis in the semi-finals.
