Al Geish - Damanhour 73-57

Al Geish outrebounded Damanhour 38-21 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Makram Momen who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 4 steals (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). Ashraf Moahmed contributed with 11 points for the winners. Omar Talaat answered with 12 points and point guard Sleem Elessawy (181-2002) added 8 points in the effort for Damanhour. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Al Ahly outrebounded Sporting 41-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. 28 personal fouls committed by Sporting helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international guard Ehab Amin (193-1995, college: Oregon) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Omar Oraby (218-1991, college: USC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Al Ahly C. players scored in double figures. Ahmed El Selaawi answered with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Ahmed Rehan (195-2003) added 16 points in the effort for Sporting. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
