Cierra Dillard is back at Alexandria Sporting Club

Alexandria Sporting Club (Superleague) signed 29-year old American (has also Senegalese passport) guard Cierra Dillard (176cm-1996, college: Buffalo, agency: LBM Management). She joins another USA player Lyndsey Whilby who is already in the roster.

It is actually her comeback to Alexandria as she has played here before. She just played at Gran Canaria in Spanish LF Endesa. In 8 games she had 6.1ppg, 1.3rpg and 2.0apg this season. Dillard also played for OGM Orman Genclik Ankara in Turkish league.

In 2019 she was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in second round (20th overall).
The former University of Buffalo star is in her seventh season in pro basketball. She has been regularly called to the Senegalese Senior National Team since 2023.

Dillard is quite experienced player. She has played in seven different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and of course North America). Dillard has played professionally in Australia (Tigers), Finland (Tapiolan Honka), Israel (Hapoel Kfar Saba), Saudi Arabia (Capital), Spain (Casablanca), Turkey (Cankaya, Yalova Vip and Bogazici) and Egypt (Al Ahly, Somouha and Al Ittihad).

Among many awards she won FIBA Women's Basketball League Africa championship title in 2023. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TKBL Guard of the Year back in 2022. Dillard played also for University of Massachusetts for 2 years.
