Worth to mention a great performance of Yassen Ahmed who helped to win the game recording 17 points. The former international forward Ahmed Rehan (195-2003) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Gamal Ezz answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds and guard Ahmed Hatem (190-1995) added 13 points in the effort for Al Geish. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Petrojet looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Canal helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Ayman Chawkat fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. American-Palestinian Kyndall Dykes (192-1987, college: New Orleans, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Dykes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Petrojet players scored in double figures. American guard Madarious Gibbs (185-1993, college: Texas Southern) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and Yemeni Mohamed Ezzat added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
