Egyptian Superleague round 19 best performance: Adam Moussa (by Hoops Agents)

Naturalized American Guard Adam Moussa (190-G-2002) had a great game in the last round for Al Zamalek Cairo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, four rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat WE Sporting (7-7) 80-70. Zamalek maintains the 8th position in Egyptian Superleague. Zamalek is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-7 record. In the team's last game Moussa had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Zamalek's top player in his first season with the team. Adam Moussa averages this season 15.6ppg, 5.1rpg and 6.3apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Kyndall Dykes (192-SG-1987, agency: Slash Sports) of Petrojet Sporting Club Cairo. Dykes had a very good evening with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Petrojet lost that game 105-110 to slightly higher-ranked Sporting (#14, 3-11). Dykes is a newcomer at Petrojet, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.8ppg (#2). He also registered 6.5 boards per game. Former University of New Orleans star Dykes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Amr Gendy (193-G-1991) of league's second-best Al Ahly Cairo. Gendy showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. Despite Gendy's great performance the Al Ahly lost 91-93 to #1 ranked Al Ittihad Al.. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Al Ahly had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 2nd lost game is hopefully really an accident. Gendy's teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Gendy has a very solid season. In 11 games in Egypt he scored 12.0ppg.
