Shehata re-signs at Al Ittihad Alexandria

Al Ittihad Alexandria (Superleague) confirmed in their roster 30-year point guard Yusuf Shehata (183cm-79kg-1996, college: PLNU). He has played there for the last three seasons.
He represented the USA at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Piraeus (Greece) two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 3 points per game and had rebounds per game.
He has played previously for Egyptian team Sporting. His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season of the Egyptian League in 2025.
Shehata graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2018 and is entering his eighth season as a professional player. He has also played for other colleges such as Pima Community College and Bellevue University.
