Amer is back at Sporting

Alexandria Sporting Club (Superleague) agreed terms with 32-year old ex-international forward Hagar Amer (184cm-1993). It is actually her comeback to Alexandria as she has played here before. She just played at Al Ahly in African tournament She also played for another Egyptian team Alexandria Sporting Club.
Amer was also a member of the Egyptian international program for some years. She played for Egyptian Senior National Team between 2011 and 2021 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2011.
Amer is a very experienced player. She won the FIBA Women's Basketball League Africa championship title in 2025. Amer was voted to Afrobasket.com All-FIBA African Women Basketball League Defensive Player of the Year in 2025.
