Defending champion Al Ahly Cairo (Superleague) added to their roster experienced Sir'Dominic Pointer (198-G/F-1992, college: St.John's) for new 2025-26 season. Last season he played at Shabab Al Ahli Dubai.
In 2015 he was drafted by Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) in second round (53rd overall).
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eleven different countries. tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Manama), Cyprus (APOEL Nicosia), Greece (Panionios), Hungary (Alba), Israel (Hapoel Eilat), Lebanon (Byblos), Taiwan (Dreamers), Venezuela (Trotamundos), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge), Czech Republic (Brno) and The Basketball Tournament (Choice). Won West Asia Super League Group Gulf Coast championship title in 2025.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others He was voted Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot League Defensive Player of the Year back in 2022.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Al Ahly Cairo.
