J'aiamoni Welch-Coleman (ex Correcaminos) agreed terms with Somouha

J'aiamoni Welch-Coleman

Somouha (Superleague) added to their roster 28-year old American 165cm guard J'aiamoni Welch-Coleman (college: Weber State) for season 2025-26. She played most recently at Correcaminos in Mexican LNBPF. In two games she just recently played she recorded only 2.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.5apg last season. The last season she played at Esperance Sportive Pully in Swiss league.
She is a very experienced player. Welch-Coleman has played professionally in Finland (Kouvottaret), Ireland (Celtics), Luxembourg (Etzella), Romania (Targu Secuiesc), Switzerland, Ukraine (Frankivsk), WUBA (East Bay Splash), WPBA (Riptide) and Kosovo (Peja 03).
She played in the final of EWBL in 2024, among many awards. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League Honorable Mention in 2023.
It is worth mentioning that she also played at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped her secure a job in professional basketball.
Welch-Coleman graduated from Weber State in 2019 and it'll be her seventh season in pro basketball.
