Egypt U16 - Mali U16 62-67

Mali U16 powered past Egypt U16 with a hard-fought 67–62 victory in the 2025 FIBA U16 AfroBasket, advancing their strong campaign. In a tightly contested first half, Egypt led 25–23 at the break after edging the opening two quarters. The game shifted in the second half, as Mali found their rhythm offensively, outscoring Egypt 20–19 in the third before delivering a decisive 24-point final quarter. Despite Egypt’s late push, Mali’s depth and resilience proved too much, sealing an important win that underlined their status as one of the tournament’s frontrunners.
Bakary Ballo (2010) orchestrated the win with 23 points and N'Dji Coulibaly (2010) had 15. Mohammed Salem (201-C-2009) replied with 18 points in a loss.
