NGBS Giza (Superleague) signed 24-year-old American 186cm forward Tamia Lawhorne (college: Marshall, agency: Ladies 1st) for the upcoming season.

She was the top scorer at ZKK Sibenik in the Croatian Premijer Liga last season, averaging an impressive 22.2ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.4spg in 24 games. Lawhorne helped her team reach the cup final and the league semifinals. She was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Croatian League All-Imports Team, named League Player of the Week twice, and selected for the Eurobasket.com All-Croatian League Second Team.

Her college team won the Sun Belt Tournament in 2024.

Lawhorne graduated from Marshall University in 2024 and it'll be her second season in pro basketball. She played also for George Mason University for 4 years.
