Al Ahly Cairo lands Jordan Theodore

Defending champion Al Ahly Cairo (Superleague) has signed experienced 35-year-old USA-North Macedonian 183cm point guard Jordan Theodore (college: Seton Hall) for the new season. He was the second-best scorer at Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt in the German BBL league.

In 22 games, he averaged 12.7ppg, 3.0rpg, and 4.2apg last season. He helped them reach the German Bundesliga Cup Semifinals. Theodore also played 1 game in which he had 13 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assists.
During the 2023-24 season, he split time between Baskonia in the Spanish Liga Endesa and Metropolitans in the French Betclic ELITE ProA.

He is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in nine different countries playing on three different continents. Theodore is familiar with European, Latin American, and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in France (JL Bourg), Greece (AEK Betsson), Italy (Armani Milano and Umana Venezia), Puerto Rico (Mets), Russia (UNICS Kazan and Samara), Spain, Turkey (Besiktas, Ayos, Bandirma, and Mersin Buyuksehir Belediyesi), and the Dominican Republic (Marineros).

Among many awards, he played in the final of VTB United League in 2021. Theodore was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention back in 2019.

He graduated from Seton Hall University in 2012 and it'll be his 14th season in pro basketball.
