Mostafa starts his pro career at Wonju DB

Essam Mostafa

Wonju DB (KBL) added 26-year-old Egyptian forward Essam Mostafa (206cm-113kg-1999) to their roster for the new 2025-26 season. Mostafa, who just graduated from Middle Tennessee State University (NCAA), averaged 14.5ppg, 9.2rpg, 1.2apg, and 1.2spg in 33 games last season. He played a key role in helping his team finish as the second-best team in NCAA1 and advance to the league semifinals.
Mostafa started his college career at Coastal Carolina College (NCAA) where he played four seasons. He then moved to Texas Christian University (NCAA). During his high school career, he had spent at Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, NY.
As mentioned above, he is just out of college and it will be his first full season as a pro. He was also voted to All-C-USA Newcomer of the Year in 2025 during his college time. Mostafa played for other colleges such as Texas Christian University and Coastal Carolina College.
