Al Fatat (D1) signed 28-year-old Egyptian international, 193cm power forward Raneem Elgedawy (college: WKU), for the upcoming Arab tournament. She has played for the last four years at Al Ahly in the Egyptian Superleague
.
She has been a member of the Egyptian international program for some years. Elgedawy has regularly played for the Egyptian senior team since 2015 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2015.
She is a very experienced player.

Elgedawy graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2021 and it'll be her fifth season in pro basketball.
