Bebo signs at Al Ahly Cairo

Defending champion Al Ahly Cairo (Superleague) confirmed in their roster 26-year-old international power forward Ahmed Khalaf (Bebo)(211cm-1999). Last season, he played at another Egyptian team Al Ittihad Alexandria.

He has been a member of the Egyptian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Egyptian senior team since 2017 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2017.

Bebo also represented Egypt at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers two years ago. During this event he scored an average of 4.3 ppg and had 4.8 rpg.

He has played in Spain (Martorell) and Spain as well. His team finished as the regular season runner-up in the Egyptian League in 2025.
He received the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Honorable Mention award in 2018.
