Al Ittihad Alexandria (Superleague) re-hired experienced 59-year-old coach Ahmed Omar for the 2025-26 season.
He has coached previously in Qatar (Al Ahli Sports Club Doha) and the United Arab Emirates (Shabab Al Ahli and Al Naser). He played in the final of the Egyptian League in 2025.
