Al Ittihad - Petro de Luanda 74-96

Petro de Luanda clinched the Basketball Africa League Final berth. They beat Al Ittihad Alexandria in the second semifinal clash of the day to join Al Ahly Tripoli in the Final. Kendrick Ray (188-G-1994, college: KSU) came up with 21 points to pace the Angolan team.
Petro de Luanda knocked down 25 points in the first period to eke out a 3-point lead. They maintained the lead throughout the second frame as Petro ensured a 45-40 halftime lead. Petro de Luanda went on a strong 22-12 rally in the third term to boost the lead. The Angolan side erupted for 29 points in the fourth quarter and cruised to the victory. Aboubacar Gakou (201-F-1997) tossed in 17 points in the win. Majok Deng (205-F-1993, college: ULM) replied with 17 points for Al Ittihad.
