Madagascar - Egypt 82-80

Madagascar shocked Egypt in Antananarivo at the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers. They posted a thrilling 82-80 win due to a 24-17 final run.
It was Madagascar to start with a 30-16 rally, whilst Egypt took the lead with 22-11 and 25-17 rallies in the second and the third quarters respectively. Anthony Nelson gave his side 78-73 lead at the end and Mathias M'Madi (196-G-2005, college: Seward County) brought the win from the free throw line.
Mathias M'Madi top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Sitraka Raharimanantoanina (206-PF-2001) netted 15. Mohamed Taha Ibrahim Mohamed Abdelrahman (192-SF-1999) replied with 20 points in a loss and Khaled Abdelgawad (204-PF-1999) had 17.
