Egyptian champions survive a thriller at the filled up Marius Ndiaye Arena to beat hosts ASC Ville de Dakar at the 2024 Women's Basketball League Africa. Al Ahly Sporting Club posted a thrilling 65-64 win to enter the Final. Al Ahly Sporting Club needed a final 25-13 run to seal the win.
Ndioma Kane (190-F-1999) led the way with 18 points and Raneem Elgedawy (193-F-1997, college: WKU) notched 14. Kamite Dabou (179-F-2004) replied with 20 points in the losing effort whilst Foune Sissoko (168-PG-1999) poured in 15.
