Ferr.Maputo tabs Destiny Pitts, ex Jaguares

Destiny Pitts

Clube Ferroviaro da Maputo (D1) inked 25-year old American 178cm guard Destiny Pitts (college: Texas A&M). She played most recently at Jaguares in Nicaraguan LSBF. In 18 games she just recently played she was league's third best scorer with impressive 20.5ppg and had 7.0rpg, 4.8apg (top 3) and 2.2spg (in top 5) last season. She helped them to win the League title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. Great season indeed as she was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Nicaraguan LSBF Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and voted to Latinbasket.com All-Nicaraguan LSBF First Team. The last season she played at Alexandria Sporting Club in Egyptian league.
Pitts has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to three different continents (Latin America, Africa and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in Mexico (Centauros), Egypt (Al Gezira) and Mexico.
Pitts graduated from Texas A&M University in 2022 and it will be her third season in pro basketball. She played also for University of Minnesota for 3 years.
