Al Arabi welcomes back Saad

Al Arabi Club Doha (QBL) tabbed 28-year old Qatari-Egyptian international 185cm swingman Abdulrahman Saad .

It is actually his comeback to Doha as he has played here before. He played most recently at Al Gharafa (QBL). In 7 games he averaged 10.9ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.9apg last season. Saad can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Cup Honorable Mention.
He won Qatari League championship title in 2014 and 2021 and the cup in 2014, 2017 and 2021. He was selected to Asia-Basket.com Qatar D1 All-Domestic Players Team back in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Zamalek (Superleague) in Egypt. He helped them to make it to the cup final.
Saad has been also a member of Qatari international program for some years. He has regularly played for Qatari senior team since 2015 and previously for U18 National Team in 2014.
Saad represented Qatar at the FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon seven years ago. But his stats at that event were not that impressive as he did not score anything.
He is a very experienced player.
