Tarleton State University added to their roster 19-year old Egyptian international guard Karim Elgizawy (6'2''-2005) for season 2025-25. He played most recently at Al Ahly Cairo in Egyptian Superleague.

He has been also a member of the Egyptian international program for some years. Elgizawy has regularly played for the Egyptian senior team since 2023 and for the U22 National Team last year.


He represented Egypt at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Piraeus (Greece) this year. During this event he scored an average of 1.5 points per game and had rebounds per game. Elgizawy played in the final of Egyptian League in 2024.
