Heliopolis lands Mohamed Abouel Nasr

Heliopolis (Superleague) signed 32-year-old former international 190cm guard Mohamed Abouel Nasr for the upcoming season. Nasr had been playing for Al Ahly Cairo for the past five years.
He also represented Egypt at the FIBA World Cup 2019 Qualifiers five years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 1.7 ppg and had 2.7 rpg.
Nasr has also played professionally in Qatar (Al Rayyan). He played in the final of the Egyptian League in 2024.
