CP Natacao (Liga Feminina) inked American 183cm forward Deangelique Waithe (college: LIU Brooklyn). Waithe played most recently at El Ward in Egyptian Superleague.
The previous (2021-22) season she played at Rebels in British WBBL where in 25 games she averaged 12.2ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.2apg and 1.8spg in that year. Good season as she was voted League Player of the Week.
She has played also professionally in Spain (Aviles).
Her team made it to the NEC Tournament Semifinals in 2018.
Waithe graduated from Long Island University in 2018 and it will be her sixth season in pro basketball.
