Somouha lands Randy Culpepper, ex Brno

Randy Culpepper

Somouha (Superleague) landed experienced 34-year old American 183cm point guard Randy Culpepper (college: UTEP, agency: Octagon Europe) for new season 2023-2024

He was the top scorer at Basket Brno in NBL league in Czech Republic. In 22 games he averaged 12.9ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.5apg last season. He also played 2 games in European North Basketball League where he had 6.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 5.5apg and 4.0spg.

His team was regular season runner-up in Czech Republic League in 2023.

The previous (2021-22) season he played at Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys (LKL) in Lithuanian league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.

He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in France (Limoges CSP Elite), Italy (Cantu, Pistoia and Scafati), Lebanon (Sagesse), Lithuania, Mexico (Soles), Russia (Krasny Oktyabr), Turkey (Besiktas, Best Balikesir and Afyon), Ukraine (Zaporizhye and Prometey) and South Korea (Anyang).

Among many awards he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie a Defensive Player of the Year back in 2018.
He graduated from University of Texas at El Paso in 2011 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball. His team was regular season runner-up in Czech Republic League in 2023.
