Louise Forsyth (ex Pully) agreed terms with Somouha

Somouha (Superleague) has strengthened their roster for the 2023-24 season with the addition of Louise Forsyth, a 24-year-old Canadian guard who stands at 185cm. Forsyth played college basketball at Idaho. Last season, she played for Pully in the Swiss SBL league and emerged as the top scorer, averaging an impressive 21.5 points per game. She also contributed 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. Forsyth's performance helped Pully reach the cup final. She had a great season, earning the title of League Player of the Week three times and being selected for the Eurobasket.com All-Swiss SBL Second Team.

Seven years ago, she represented Canada at the World Championships U17 in Zaragoza, Spain. Her statistics at that event were as follows: she played 6 games and had an average of 2.3 points per game.

Among many awards, she played in the final of the WCC Tournament in 2019. She was also voted the All-Big Sky Conference Sixth Man of the Year in 2022.

She graduated from the University of Idaho in 2022, and this will be her second season in professional basketball. She also played for Gonzaga University for four years.
