Al Ahly successfully open BAL campaign

Al Ahly successfully opened BAL campaign and posted two wins in Group B. They overcame Ferroviario Beira 92-74 in the opener. The best player for the winners was Nuni Omot (206-SF-1994, college: Baylor) who scored 21 points. Corey Webster (188-SG-1988, college: Lambuth) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. William Perry (183-F-1994, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Bourama Sidibe (208-SF-1997, college: Syracuse) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests.
In the second game Al Ahly overcame City Oilers 72-70.
