Ahmed Marei

Al Morog (D1) will be lead by experienced 64-year old Egyptian coach Ahmed Marei. Marei started the season at Zamalek in Egyptian league.

He was coaching Egyptian Senior National Team between 2020 and 2021 and coached also U18 National Team back in 2018.

Marei has coached previously also in United Arab Emirates (Shabab Al Ahli). His team won Egyptian League Regular Season in 2020 and 2021.

Among many awards he was voted Afrobasket.com All-Egyptian Superleague Coach of the Year back in 2020.
