Gezert El Ward (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of American 183cm forward Deangelique Waithe (college: LIU Brooklyn) for season 2022-23.

Waithe has played for the last two years at Essex Rebels in British WBBL. In 25 games she recorded 12.2ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.2apg and 1.8spg last season. Good year as she was voted League Player of the Week.


She has played also professionally in Spain (Aviles).

Her team made it to the NEC Tournament Semifinals in 2018.

Waithe graduated from Long Island University in 2018 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
