Spolyar is back at El Shams, ex Adelitas

El Shams Cairo (Superleague) signed 24-year old American guard Kristen Spolyar (178cm-1997, college: Butler) for upcoming 2022-23 season. It is actually her comeback to Cairo as she has played here before. Spolyar played this summer at Adelitas in Mexican LNBPF.


In 28 games just recently she had 13.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.9apg and 1.5spg. She helped them to make it to the Mexican LNBPF final after they ended regular season as second best team.


Spolyar has played previously professionally in Switzerland (Geneve) and Ukraine (Budivelnyk). Spolyar's team won Ukrainian Cup in 2022.

She graduated from Butler University in 2020 and it will be her third season as a professional player.
