Sean Armand agreed terms with Al Ettehad

Armand played this summer at Friday Beers (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In two TBT games just recently he recorded 13.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.5apg.

Armand ended 21-22 season at Dynamo in Lebanese LBL where in four games he averaged 14.8ppg, 4.5rpg, 6.5apg and 1.3spg. But the most of that year he spent at Socar Petkim in Turkish BSL. In 15 games he had very impressive stats: 20.5ppg, 3.1rpg, 4.8apg and 1.0spg. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com Turkish League All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week and Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Second Team.

He is a very experienced player. Armand has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in France (Chalon/Saor), Germany (Skyliners), Russia (Zenit), Spain (Fuenlabrada), Turkey (Gaziantep, Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi and Acibadem) and The Basketball Tournament (Gael Nation). His team won MAAC Regular Season in 2012 and 2014.

Among many awards he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Honorable Mention back in 2017.

Armand graduated from Iona College in 2014 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.

Armand's game is described as: Pure scorer with one of the purest shooting touches on the roster.. Possesses NBA range that is capable of attacking in the open floor or off the dribble.. Extremely hard worker showed improvement on defense as a rookie in addition to his talented offensive skills.
