Al Gezira lands Jabarie Hinds, ex GTK

Al Gezira Cairo (Superleague) landed 30-year old American 180cm point guard Jabarie Hinds (college: UMass) for new season. Hinds played most recently at GTK Gliwice in Polish EBL league. In 30 games he averaged impressive 15.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 5.5apg and 1.2spg last season. He was also voted League Player of the Week.
Hinds ended the previous (2020-21) season at Manisa Buyuksehir Belediye in Turkish TBL where in four games he had 8.3ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.0spg in that year. But the most of that year he spent at HydroTruck (EBL). In 19 games he recorded very remarkable stats: 21.7ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.7apg and 1.6spg in that year. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
Hinds is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Hungary (Atomeromu), Kosovo (Prishtina), North Macedonia (MZT Skopje) and Turkey (Socar Petkim).
Among many awards his team won Turkish TBL Regular Season in 2020. Hinds was voted to Eurobasket.com Kosovo League All-Imports Team back in 2017.
He graduated from University of Massachusetts in 2016 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
