Al Gezira Cairo (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 21-year old 169cm guard Habiba Hatem Elgizawy for season 2022-2023.


Habiba Hatem has played for the last two years at Al Ahly. She helped them to make it to the Egyptian League final after they ended regular season as second best team.

Habiba Hatem represented Egypt at the African Championship U18 in Maputo (Mozambique) four years ago. Her stats at that event were 6 games: 2.7ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.2spg.
