Meral Abdelgawad

Al Ahly Cairo (Superleague) inked 23-year old Egyptian international 180cm guard Meral Abdelgawad for upcoming season.

The contract will continue for four years

Meral payed before for El Shams Cairo

Abdel gawad just graduated from Western Kentucky University (NCAA) in USA. She has played there for the last four years.

Great season indeed as she was voted to C-USA All-Defensive Team.

Abdel gawad has been a member of Egyptian international program for some years. She has been regularly called to Egyptian senior team since 2020 and previously for U19 National Team between 20 and 2017.

Of course it will be her first season in professional basketball.
