POSTED BY: Abdul Hamid Addasi
He managed to play in four leagues in four countries last year (!!!). In 9 LNB games he recorded 8.2ppg, 1.6rpg, 3.2apg and 1.1spg. Davis also played for Cafeteros in Colombian LPB where in 11 games he averaged 12.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.6apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Davis is quite experienced player. Davis' career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in thirteen different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America. Davis has played previously professionally in Cyprus (Koop Spor), France (Kaysersberg), Hungary (Hubner Nyiregyhaza BS), Lithuania (Delikatesas), Mexico (Ostioneros de Guaymas), Montenegro (Ibar), Morocco (FUS Rabat), Qatar (Al Khor), Serbia (KK Napredak Rubin Krusevac), Slovenia (Terme Olimia), Ukraine (Polytechnic), Czech Republic (Kolin) and Egypt (Al Ittisalat). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention back in 2018. He attended Claflin University until 2011 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player. On Davis: Jawan is a tough natural Leader PG with high basketball IQ making him a great floor general. Davis has blazing speed/quickness making him always an offensive threat and is known for being a defensive stopper. On offense he uses speed for change of direction, mismatches for slower players to create any shot, and puts pressure on defense with fast break situations. On defense he uses this to harass players, be pesky getting numerous steals & disrupting offense with full court pressure every play. Shoots the 3 really well from any situation and is great with making plays from pick and roll. Mid range is his best game. Plays with passion and heart while being a true professional with work ethic every day.
