Hala El-Shaarawy
Alexandria Sporting Club (Superleague) confirmed in their roster 28-year old ex-international forward Hala El-Shaarawy (185cm-93, college: St.Peter's) for new 2021-22 season. El-Shaarawy played there last season. She helped them to win the League title. The previous (19-20) season she played at Al Ahly. El-Shaarawy was a member of Egyptian international program for some years. She was called to Egyptian Senior National Team between 2011 and 2019 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2011. El-Shaarawy has played previously for Somouha. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted to Afrobasket.com All-African Championships 2nd Team back in 2017. She attended Saint Peter's University until 2016 and it will be her sixth season as a professional player.
